Kwaw Annan Jr. is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on mobile app development for both Android and iOS platforms. He has a deep understanding of Java and is skilled in reverse engineering mobile applications, making him an excellent security researcher. Currently, Kwaw works as a software engineer at Visa, where he is a part of the innovation team responsible for building cutting-edge payment technologies with security in mind. Prior to his current role, Kwaw worked as a Mobile and Backend Engineer at Citi, where he was responsible for developing new features for Native Android Users. His role involved programming new user interfaces and functionality according to predetermined redlines, as well as being part of the pioneers of introducing BDD automated UI testing into the application. Kwaw also worked as a Software Engineer at UPS, where he automated a process that took 80 hours to complete, resulting in cutting the time down to under a minute. He built web services and server applications to properly integrate and communicate with other Rest API’s and operating systems API’s such as Linux and Android. Kwaw has a degree in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and has also completed an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Mercer County Community College. He is proficient in various tools and technologies such as HTML5, Jersey, Maven, MS SQL server, SoapUi, WebLogic, Spring, Junit, Eclipse, and other in-house tools. Kwaw is a team player and has experience working in Agile Workflow, participating in SCRUM meetings, and using Bitbucket and SourceTree for Source Control. Overall, Kwaw has 5.28 years of relevant experience and possesses a diverse skill set that makes him an asset to any team he works with.
